Clinical Cancer Registry at the University Hospital Erlangen

According to the Bavarian Cancer Registry Act (BayKRegG, vom from March 7, 2017), doctors are obliged to report cancer cases to the Bavarian Cancer Registry.

The Clinical Cancer Registry of the University Hospital Erlangen has been managed at the CCC Erlangen-EMN office since 2018 and reports identity data and medical data on diagnosis, therapy and aftercare to the responsible regional center for Middle Franconia of the cancer registry.

The following tasks are performed by the clinical cancer registry of the University Hospital Erlangen:

  • Recording and documentation of all tumor diseases (ADT basic data set with modules)
  • Fulfillment of the reporting obligation to the responsible clinical cancer registry according to §65c SGB V
  • Collection of key figures for the certification of the organ centers, the Erlangen Oncology Center and the CCC Erlangen-EMN
  • Support with scientific work
