Local Therapies
The Lighthouse Local Therapies aims to develop AI-based imaging solutions to optimise local cancer treatments and improve patient outcomes. Experts from radiology, radiotherapy, surgery and computer science are working together to overcome challenges in medical imaging and develop advanced image analysis for tumour detection and treatment planning. They are also working to improve real-time imaging technologies and create standardised imaging data at the BZKF sites.

Die Versorgung von Krebspatient/-innen am Uniklinikum Erlangen erfolgt in zertifizierten bzw. begutachteten Strukturen der Deutschen Krebsgesellschaft (DKG), der Deutschen Krebshilfe (DKH) bzw. dem Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF).
Im Onkologischen Zentrum (ONZ) sind die Strukturen für die klinische Versorgung zusammengefasst, im Comprehensive Cancer Center Erlangen-Europäische Metropolregion Nürnberg (CCC ER-EMN; CCC WERA) und im Nationalen Centrum für Tumorerkrankungen (NCT) die Strukturen für translationale Krebsforschung und klinische Studien.
