Molecular pharmacology on protein targets for cancer therapy

Prof. Pithi Chanvorachote is a professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok Thailand. He has expertise in evaluation of anti-cancer drugs targeting lung cancer including cancer stem cells and metastasis. His molecular pharmacology approach involves the identification of drug molecular targets, proteomics, protein-protein interaction, molecular docking, and structur-activity relationship evaluation. He is the head of CDD (cell-based drug development) research unit. In 2016 he has been awarded with the prestigious Georg-Forster fellowship of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation at our Institute of Pathology.
